This sleeping baby elephant will melt your heart

We’re all jealous of this sleeping baby elephant who doesn’t care about the world.

But the little elephant was born just three weeks ago and is looking for a safe haven that doesn’t turn into a tourist spectacle.

Since birth, she has literally been linked to Allie, her temporary caregiver, and they clearly have a special bond.

Ele falls asleep in Allie’s arms, who hums a lullaby from the movie Prince of Egypt.

The video was released by Chai Lai Orchid, a nature retreat in the mountains of Chiang Mai, Thailand, which promotes friendship with elephants.

They hope the images will push people to save the baby elephant and her family and have added a link to a Crowdrise page for donations.
